I'm about two hours in and I'm not even sure if it's worth replaying seeing as I remember most of the story beats. Did you still enjoy the replay journey?

That's how I feel but I don't think I ever beat FFX, probably got close to the end though. I know what happens in the end though, but I don't really remember the context of which it happens.

This was the on Final Fantasy I really played as a kid... played a bit of X2 but didn't really enjoy it without Tidus.

Yeah. I'm finding it quite relaxing to play as the animations are great and it doesn't require too much input from me. Just hard to shake the feeling that I'm wasting time replaying it... but I did last play it 15 years ago so like I'm sure I'll pick up on a lot of stuff I missed/was too young to grasp.

Replaying games is great, and even with a backlog of video games I still enjoy taking my time replaying games (hell I'm like a gen and a half behind because I don't rush through games and don't understand people that do)

That being said, while I loved FF 10 the first time around I don't think I'd like it on a replay. With most of the Final Fantasy series I much prefer to remember them fondly in my memories now that the series is defunct. I'm worried I'll replay them and they'll turn out so much worse than I remember.

This remaster so far is living up to what I remember about it and then some. The combat is pretty damn simplistic though. I don't feel very challenged but I am enjoying the extreme linearity. Nice break from modern Western games.

How long was it since you played it? I'm surprised you still remember the story beats. It's been 10 years since last I played FF 10 and I've forgotten a lot of stuff besides the gist of the plot and the ending.

X-2 pissed me off so much when I missed a fraction of a percentage when going for 100% route because I didn't let this one random NPC finish saying the last word.

Never touching that game again.

Woops. Guys I was talking about the remaster as a whole, not just X2. I doubt I'll get to X2 as I didn't like Yuna as a protagonist. I'm talking mainly about 10.
