However, I went on a family vacation last week with my whole family, but she couldn't come because she was having some "financial issues". I follow her fucking Twitter. She spends hundreds of dollars on concerts every week but can't fucking find 200 dollars for a vacation with her family. It's not like I haven't seen her in a year.

I know that when my grandpa died, my family made jokes and laughed because we loved him so dearly and we were all so heartbroken that it was nice to feel some joy about the guy.

That's not what happened at all. First, I made a joke. Then when you reacted so poorly, I pointed out that humor can be helpful and to not take things so seriously, then I used a particularly difficult time in my life to relate and demonstrate my personal experience with it. God damn, you are angry over nothing. No wonder your sister doesn't want to spend time with you.

How do you know she is doing drugs? If so, that may be a part why she cannot and dont want to come, ashamed, etc.

It is understandable to be emotional, but thibk rationally and make judgement based on her usual attitude?

Is this a pattern? Repeating a long time? Then she probably just really dont like hanging out that much.

Is this new,? Based on your post and claim you have overall good relationship? Could be in trouble, etc.

If so try to make effort to approach her not in a a demanding position, but asking whats wrong and say youre willing to listen if anything is wrong.


I dunno, she is your sister, part of yourcjob to figure her out.
