The only TPS games i've played recently are Uncharted 4 and MGSV.

Are there any other decent ones out now or are they all FPS?

Oh is that third person? I heard Siege might be right up our alley. We don't HATE FPS games but we generally prefer TPS.

Since you plan on playing coop check out Wildlands or the Division.

The Division is probably hella cheap by now but is fun to play with friends until you get to the level cap, afterwards you can easily see the sides of the Skinner Box, But its totally worth playing if you can get it cheap.

I didn't play Wildlands but its supposed to be about tactics and strategy (which is why I skipped it) but may be what you are looking for. That just came out this year so probably isn't as cheap as the Division but its worth looking into.

I also prefer TPS but Far Cry 4 lets you play it coop but is FPS so maybe look into that too.

"Tactics" and "strategy"

Wildlands with friends devolves into someone alerting a base and everyone pulling out LMGs and M203s.
I mean you can play it strategically and stealthy but it ends up a mess eventually.

Ya third person. Siege is what I'm playing right now I'm pretty sure (whatever the newest is).

Love the breaching aspect most.

Even though someone already mentioned it rainbow six siege is probably one of the best tactical games released in a long time. It being FPS shouldn't stop you. If you have a group of friends to play with you are going to have a blast.

I also will throw wildlands out there as well. Game is pretty awesome. Only being 4 player and not having a PvP type mode is what hurts it for me. But you can do some pretty cool stuff and if your team is willing to disable the HUD and not spam 203s you'll have some fun times.

I thought of Socom II before clicking the topic.

I really wish Sony would just rerelease it on PS4. I'd renew my PS+ just for that.

Last of Us online was really good when it first came out

idk how it is now though. Maybe wait for LOU2


but yeah it was slower pace than most shooters, had a heavy emphasis on stealth and reliability on team.
