They're not supposed to, but it does still happen some places. I've been invited out for dinner with a female friend and sometimes the servers still dump the bill in front of me, instead of the center of the table where it belongs in any country where feminism is prominent.

I usually pay on dates or at least split, but sometimes when I go to lunch with my sister, we get funny looks when she pays. I don't care though because she makes like 400k and takes me to nice places. Worth it.

I usually get given the bill. With my ex we used to have an agreement that whoever drove didn't pay, and the non-driver got to enjoy all the beer/wine they wanted. Win win for me as she felt homesick after three glasses of wine, so I had to drive home swiftly where I could drink to my heart's content.

Interestingly most male waiters would ask who was paying the bill, whereas female waitresses would just throw the bill my way and ask the missus if she wanted dessert. More than once did I see a masked snarl when they found out she was paying.

I suspect I am probably on some angry SJW feminist forum because some non-sexually active "womyn" saw me with a female in a restauraunt, where I pulled up in an Aston Martin yet made her pay for dinner.

Just for amusement, I once let her drive my car (I had a Porsche 911 at the time) to a dinner date. I followed in her Cooper S and couldn't believe how much attention she got. Even she came away a little disappointed that she was only seen that way because she was in a nice car.

Once a week we buy dinner for the both of us. Any other time we go out we usually split it or one of us will pay if the other only got something small, like say just a side plate

No one seems to bother. I haven't been working for a few months, so when we go out, she mostly pays. It sucks, but no one has ever said anything. I usually make small talk anyway and we both always tip well so I'm fairly certain no one cares.

I've never noticed before.

Would be hilarious know considering our credit cards are attached to the same account.
