You and Raven go down the buffet line, take up trays, plates and plastic utensils, and scoop steamed rice before moving down the buffet. You use tongs to pick up a few pieces of the Shoyu-glazed chicken and then use separate tongs to grab up a plentiful helping of the pulled pork. Raven meanwhile chooses a juicy looking strip loin.

"Oh, salad, too," you say.

"What kind?" Raven asks.

"Standard green salad," the server behind the table says. "Would you like it with ranch or poppy seed dressing?"

"Ranch, please," you say.

"Ranch," Raven says.

"And croutons," you say.

You are served a bowl of salad with dressing and croutons, Raven just has a salad with dressing. You move on, picking up napkins and going back to your seats. You two sit and eat as masculine men perform their fire dance. Raven's eyes light up, and you pout at her.

"Sorry," she shrugs. "But we're even now."

You snicker, smirk and return to eating. You do legitimately enjoy the performance, the fire swirling with the twirling of the sticks as the drums are drumming rapidly. The really thrilling part is when they toss it in the air as they spin around on their feet.

"Fire breatha!" several performers shout out as one steps forward.

The man in the center sprays liquid from his mouth to hit the flames and it all spouts forward! Everyone applauds as the performer takes a bow.

Dinner continues, as do the performances, such as more complex hula dances performed by your instructors from earlier as well as other dancers.

"This pulled pork really is excellent," you say.

"Mhm," Raven says as she nods. "I really like the strip loin, too."

"And great chicken," you say.

"Thank you, everyone," the hostess says as meals finish. "We all hope you really enjoyed tonight, spread the word to friends or come back again, have a great night."

Everyone is dismissed, you and Raven still have your second Pepsis as you head downstairs. You two make it to the lobby, out of the building and across the street to the parking lot as the sun is almost completely down and street lights start turning on.

"We should finish these before we drive back to Bishop Museum," you say.

You and Raven start chugging down the Pepsi cola, then let out big sighs of relief and satisfaction when you finish. You toss the cans into the nearest recycling bin and then start up Shadowfax's engine. Helmets on and Raven's arms around you, you drive back to the museum and arrive just as you see someone locking up.

"Um, hey! Wait!" Raven calls as you pull into an open parking spot.

The man at the door looks back to see the two of you.

"We're closed, come back in the morning," he replies.

Raven hurries off Shadowfax and over to the man, but has to be careful in her high heel sandals.

"Stupid things, making me look like some bimbo," she grumbles while you shut off engines and put up the kick-stand.

"Sir, please," she continues as she steadies herself. "I- we were hoping, to get inside for just a bit."

"What for?" he asks. "And don't tell me for the ghost stories, too many times young people use that excuse to do Lord knows what."

"Well, sir, don't worry," you say, "we wouldn't do any of that."

"We just want to see if the stories are true," Raven says.

The man looks at you and then at Raven, clearly trying to gauge your honesty. He then sighs and stops locking up the doors.

"I'm only going to wait 20 minutes," he says.

"Only 20 minutes?" Raven says. "That's not enough time."

"It's that or nothing," he says.

Raven has a stern look on her face as she thinks on it.

"Fine," she says.

The man opens the door and you two walk in. You two hurry past the front desk and to the lobby.

"Do you sense anything yet?" you ask her.

She stands still and closes her eyes. You stay quiet as precious seconds tick by.

"Yes," she says. "But, it feels like it's all over the place. All the different rooms of the museum."

"In that case, let's start with..."

"The planetarium."

You and Raven quickly make your way through the other halls and to the planetarium in the Northwest. You arrive at the doors but they're closed and locked.

"Well, so much for that," you say. "Sorry about that."

"Don't apologize just yet," she says. "We still have a chance."

She takes your hand, and you feel this slight chill come over you as Raven's aura emerges in the form of wings, like that of a bird's. You and Raven are wrapped in the darkness, and you feel yourself moving forward. Neither being pushed nor pulled, just moving.

When the darkness unwraps from around you, you can see the inside of the planetarium, dark as it is.

"Are there ghosts in here?" you whisper.

"Why're you whispering?" she says.

"Because... I don't know. They're always whispering on those paranormal investigation shows."

"You watch those?"

"No," you say at normal volume, "but my sisters do, and it's so embarrassing. But back to the original subject: are there ghosts around?"

"I do sense them," she says. "It's another sort of all-over-the-place presence. I can't be sure if that means it's a lot of small spirits gathered together, or one bigger spirit swirling around."

"Both scenarios sound scary," you say as you peer into the dark with trepidation.

You two make your way towards the center of the domed room, and you keep your head on a swivel the whole way.

"Is there a way for you to figure out the difference?" you ask. "Some kind of chant or talisman that you have that could identify the spirit or spirits in the room?"

"No," she says. "I probably should have brought a spirit tag from home but I guess I didn't think about any of that at the time."

You two reach the center, about where you were this morning for the planetarium show. You look around at the rows of empty seat--

A figure fills a seat in the fifth row from the South end of the room.

"Who's there?" you say.

"Where?" Raven asks.

You use your own magic to shine a light in that direction, but the seat is empty.

"They were right there..." you say.

You and Raven look around. You shine your light on empty seat after empty seat, as you should be, but that one humanoid silhoutte being in the room concerns you.

"Raven, have you seen anything?" you ask. "... Raven?"

You turn around and shine your light on Raven, who is facing in the opposite direction.

"R-Raven...?"

You step closer, then a little closer, but no response from her. You know you're falling for a horror movie cliche, but you can't resist reaching out a hand. Raven suddenly whips around, eyes wide while rolled up into the back of her head!!

"AH!" you yelp as you fall back and *pfft*

Raven stands still, but then breaks into laughter.

"Did you... Did you really just fart!?"

"No..." you say feebly. "The ghost did..."

Raven laughs a little harder. Perhaps too hard.

"Don't scare me like that!" you say as you get to your feet.

"Sorry," she says. "But this was like, my first ever prank. Didn't think I'd get a fear-fart out of you."

"I think it's from all the soda I had... Was that shadow I saw a spirit or was it part of your prank?"

"No, it was definitely a spirit," she says. "But it's not coming closer. At least, not with your light shining like that."

"So, I have to turn off my light for the spirit to be more comfortable around us?"

"Fine..." you grumble as you turn off your light with reluctance.

You and Raven peer into the darkness again as your eyes adjust.

"Over there," Raven says as she tugs on your arm.

You turn to where she's pointing, and you spot the figure in a chair closer to the back.

"Can you tell who they are?" you ask Raven.

"Just enough to know they're male, only a little older than either of us."

"Is he doing anything in his seat? Like how the ghost at that small business was going about his work day."

"Um..." Raven says as she stares intently at the figure. "He looks to be watching something."

"Watching..."

You look around the planetarium, and it clicks.

"Of course," you say. "He's watching the planetarium show."

"Like the one we watched this morning?" she asks.

"Yes, or any of the other shows they offer. Perhaps he was a fan of the planetarium while he was alive."

"How long has this planetarium even been around?" she asks.

"Well, the concept of a planetarium has been around for centuries, and the projector has been around since the early 1900's. Then, Hawaii became an American state in 1959, so a modern planetarium like this could've been first built in the 70's or 80's."

Raven giggles as she stands closer to you.

"I love that you know so much stuff," she smiles as she takes your hand.

You feel a blush coming on as you chuckle.

"Well, seems he isn't doing any harm," you say about the spirit. "Let's leave him be."

You two walk back to the entrance, the door is unlocked on this side, so you push it open and exit the planetarium. You continue through to the other halls, but the man who was locking up is waiting.

"Alright, time's up," he says.

Raven grumbles and pouts, but you both exit the museum with the man. He locks up, you return to Shadowfax and make your way back to the hotel.

The lights of the city come on as night falls completely. You move through the busy streets of Honolulu's night life and return to the parking lot. You find a spot closer to the street, shut Shadowfax down for the night, and return to the lobby.

You and Raven ride up to your rooms then go to your separate rooms.

"See you in a minute?" you say.

"Okay," she smiles.

You enter, toss off your scarf and pull off your shoes. You quickly brush your teeth so that your mouth doesn't smell like pork and chicken, then somewhat nervously stand by the connecting door.

You stare at the door quietly, trying to hear if there's anything going on on the other side. However, the walls here are slightly more soundproof'd than on the AirBus.

After waiting for an actual minute, you knock on the door.

"May I enter?" you ask.

The door opens and Raven is there, still in everything except the belt.

"Sorry, was brushing my teeth," she says.

"That's fine, so was I," you smile.

"Please, come in."

She steps back, you step in, she wraps her arms around your shoulders and you wrap your arms around her waist. You hoist her up, her legs wrap around your waist, you carry her to the bed. You gently set her down while climbing on top, and she pulls you in for deep kisses.

"Rorek," she says as she stares deeply into your eyes. "I... I'm not sure I'm ready..."

You see the swirling conflict of passion and shyness in her eyes.

"Don't worry," you say. "I wasn't expecting to... go all the way. We're taking it slow, remember?"

"Oh. Okay. That's a relief."

You start with undoing the button and then pulling down the zipper fly. You already sneak a peek at her underwear, a lacey pair with a tiny white ribbon on the middle of the waistband.

"How cute," you smile.

Raven quietly blushes, hands demurely over her heart.

You pull her pants down from her hips, seeing the entirety of her black panties, at least from the front. You keep pulling the pants down more, and stop at Raven's knees. You kiss Raven's bellybutton again, then move to her hips, moving from her left to right. You glance up at Raven as she gazes down at you. She watches you, and smooths a hand through your hair as you give one last kiss to her right hip.

You move further down again, and make your way to her left as you kiss her thighs. You glance up at her again, she is nibbling on her own index finger as you tenderly touch your lips to her soft skin.

Raven's hands gravitate up towards the waist of her panties, and the fingers start to tug them down, but you stop them.

Raven undoes one shoe, slips it off and tosses it off the bed. She turns around to grab the other one, you sit up and help her with it.

You two quietly rest there, feeling each other's hearts beat, each other's bodies expanding and shrinking as you breathe in and out. You use magic to turn off the lights in the room, leaving you two to snuggle in the dark.

"Good morning," you say as she looks up at you.

You two both move to sit up, she looks down and says "Oh."

You blush because you know she's looking at the tent your morning wood is pitching.

"I'm going to go now," you say with a nervous smile as you gather your clothes.

"No, wait," Raven says.

"What say we get whatever room service has to offer?" you ask.

"Isn't that more money spent?" Raven asks. "Oh, right, you're okay with that."

"Thirty million dollar plane rental," you remind her.

You pull your pants up as you turn around, Raven grabs her bra off the ground quickly to then put it back on.

"Aw that's no fun," you say. "You don't have to get dressed if we're staying in."

"I do if room service is going to come by," she says.

"Well, I'll call them from my room, then," you say as you go back to the connecting door.

You open the door, and see the lights are still on inside.

"Oops," you say. "Oh well."

You turn the lights off now, open the curtains to let the sunlight in, and search for a room service menu.

"Here we are," you say as you pull it out of a nightstand drawer. "Room service... Breakfast. Okay."

You pick up your room's phone and dial room service. As you listen to the dial tone, you look at the door connecting your room with Raven's, she walks through with her pants back on and preparing to put her shirt on.

"No no," you say, "go back to being half-naked."

"What?" she says with a confused laugh. "No, you need to get more dressed."

"But we'll be alone in the rooms, it's fine."

"Hello, Hilton Waikiki room service," the other side answers.

"Oh, yes, good morning," you say. "You're still serving breakfast, yes?"

"Yes, sir, until 11 AM."

"Right," you say as you see it on the menu. "Then, I would like to order two helpings of bacon, scrambled eggs, sausages, hashbrowns, pancakes and French toast, with two tall glasses of milk."

"Yes, sir, right away," the employee replies.

"Thank you," you say.

You hang up and put the menu away. You then wrap your arms around Raven as she has her shirt slipping down her arms, and she yelps in surprise as you lift her up.

"Rorek~!" she laughs as you spin her to your bed.

You pull her shirt off of her, toss it at the pillows on your bed, and kiss the pillows on Raven's chest. Raven simply laughs and plays with your hair.

"Okay, c'mon," she says as she sits up.

You shift over and sit beside Raven to turn on the television. You skim through news and talk shows, and see one channel has reruns of Hawaii 5-0. But you move on in order to look for sports.

"Wait are you looking for sports?" Raven asks.

"How did you know?"

"Well where else would you be going?"

"Fine, you choose what we watch," you say. "But no horror movies, too early in the morning for that."

"Too early in the morning yet you try and motorboat me," she smirks.

Raven takes the remote and scans through the channels and settles on a channel playing reruns of the Addams Family.

A knock comes at your door.

"Room service," a man calls through the door.

"Be right there," you say as you walk over.

Raven scrambles out of the room, but then has to scramble back in to grab her shirt, and then scrambles back out. You open the door, and the young man on the other side wheels in the large dining cart. You look at the food placed atop it, big platters of the foods you ordered.

"And here are your glasses," he says as he pulls them out from the lower shelf. "As well as a full quart of milk."

He places the glass and a tall carton of milk on the top.

"Thank you, my good sir," you say as you tip the young man $5.

"And thank you," he says before taking his leave.

"Okay, Raven," you say after the door closes. "Breakfast is served."

Raven comes back, shirt back on, and you two sit at the foot of your bed to begin eating.

"So, after eating," she says as she puts bacon on a plate for herself, "what sights are we seeing today?"

"How about a road trip?" you say. "We could go to paranormal locations outside of Honolulu."

You fetch the paper packet with the locations and take a look through it, paying attention to the cities listed.

"I have no idea where any of these locations are," you say.

"We'll need a map or something," she says.

"Agreed," you say. "We can ask someone at the front desk when we head out."

You eat, having your own share of the bacon, eggs and sausages as you watch The Addams Family as Gomez romantically reacts to Morticia's use of French. He kisses up her arm and to her shoulder.

"Are you a big fan of The Addams Family?" you ask.

"What would make me a big fan?" she asks.

"Have you watched all of this original 1960's series?"

"No," she says. "I've seen random episodes from both seasons but I haven't been able to see it all."

"What about the animated series in the 1990's?"

"Yes," she says, "definitely that. I really liked that John Astin returned to be Gomez."

"What about the films?"

"Yes, I have seen each of the films," she says. "They were all enjoyable."

"You do seem like you would fit in with the Addams Family."

"I suppose so," she says with a thoughtful smile.

"I bet you'd make a great Morticia or Wednesday," you say. "Especially if you grew out your hair."

"You sure? Long hair is such a hassle."

She looks at your hair.

"Well, yes, it can be," you say. "But Wednesday has hers in those long braided pigtails."

"I don't look good with pigtails," she says.

"Are you sure? Have you tried?"

"Not by choice."

"Beast Boy pulling a prank again?"

"No, he wouldn't have the guts," she chuckles. "It was a supervillainess by the name of Mother Mae Eye. Spelled M-A-E E-Y-E."

"How did she manage that?"

"With evil magic pie."

"You're serious?"

"Yes," she chuckles. "She got all of us because we all ate her mind-control pies, but it was thanks to Starfire's Tamaranian biology that she wasn't under the control as long."

"Interesting," you say. "How did those pigtails look?"

"Not good so stop asking," she says with a chuckle.

You chuckle with her as you pour yourself a glass of milk. You pour Raven a glass and you gulp down milk to wash away the delicious grit of the bacon grease and salted scrambled eggs.

Raven clears her plate and moves on to pancakes and French toast.

"You sure have the appetite this morning," you say.

"Well... I burned off a lot of calories last night," she smirks. "Need to refuel."

You two eat up, drink up, and somewhat awkwardly set the dining cart outside in the hallway, hoping someone will come and pick it up.

"Let's shower and dress in fresh clothes," you say. "Then we can regroup and head downstairs."

"Good idea," she says.

You two go to your separate bathrooms and wash away the sweat of passion. You redress in jeans and a no-sleeve tee with solid black scarf before meeting Raven in the hall. The dining cart is in fact gone, so you two go on to the lift and ride down to the lobby.

"Hello," the woman at the front desk says. "How may I help you today?"

"Yes, we would like a map of Hawaii," you say. "Our phones don't have access to the internet, as strange as that might sound."

"Oh, yes, we have maps," the woman says.

She reaches under the desk and pulls out a map, unfolding it into a rather large sheet.

"Where were you planning on going?" she asks.

"Well, that's part of the need for a map," you say. "We have a list of locations but we aren't sure which are outside the city but still on this island."

You hand the woman your paranormal location list and, after getting past her surprise, scans the list and compares to the map.

"Oh yes, here are some," she says. "Waimea Falls in Haleiwa, Nuuanu Pali Lookout in Kaneohe, Kipapa Gulch in Mililani, the plantation village in Waipahu, quite a lot of these, really."

"Great!" you say. "Thank you."

"You're welcome," she says as she sets the map down again. "Let me mark some of these out for you."

She uses a red pen to circle locations, and when she finishes, you spin it around so you and Raven can look at the map.

"Let's head for..."

"Nu'uanu Pali Lookout. It's the closest."

"Let me see that packet," Raven says.

You hand it over and she reads the small description of the lookout.

"At the Pali Lookout," she says, "an apparition in white has been seen at night. We have to wait until tonight."

"That's fine," you say. "We can spend the day in Kaneohe and the local area."

"In that case, should we bring anything else with us?" Raven asks.

"Let's get our sunglasses, swim wear and sandals, just in case. May we borrow this map?"

"Of course," the woman says. "You can even keep it. We have plenty."

"Thank you," you say as you fold up the map.

You and Raven return upstairs, put your sunglasses, swimsuits and sandals in your knapsack and then return to the lobby. You go across the way to the parking lot and to Shadowfax. Helmets on, you pull out onto the street.

"Do you know the way?" Raven asks.

"Yes...? I remember getting onto a highway headed Northeast."

Raven takes out the map and unfolds it to show just the area you're heading for.

"The streets are a bit small on this," she says, "I can't tell what street we need to go on."

"Hold on," you say as you take out your phone. "While the Magi-Phone is not a smartphone, it is still a magic phone."

"I'd imagine so," she says as you take the map. "It does have the word 'magi' in its name, after all."

"What I mean," you say, "is that it has tricks of its own."

You use your phone's camera function and zoom in on your location at the resort. As you do, the details are filled in.

"Wait, I thought you said you could do maps on your phone," she says.

"No, I said I couldn't do google, as in the internet," you say. "Maps have been around a lot longer, so the Magi-Phone was made so it could fill in the gaps like this."

"Wow..." she says.

You look at the street names on the zoomed-in image.

"Okay, so... We'll turn left onto Liliuokalani, then right onto Kuhio, left at Kapahulu, right on Castle, North on 6th. That will get us onto interstate H1 going West, and then we'll just split off at Highway 61. Simple enough."

You put the map away, follow the instructions, and though traffic in the city is a bit thick, you make good time to the interstate. You ride and reach HI-61 and head Northeast. The city drops away quickly, and now it is all mountains and valleys, with the accompanying rivers and streams.

"Lovely, isn't it?" you ask Raven.

"Yeah," she says as you pass by groves of trees.

You drive a bit more, barely passing any other cars or vehicles. A nice peaceful drive.

"Is that the lookout?" Raven asks as she points up ahead.

You look and see an elevated viewing deck near a cliffside.

"Looks like it," you say.

You see a parking lot before the lookout, and a trail leading up to the deck. You also realize the turn off for that was a few meters ago. You'll have an easier time coming from Kaneohe. A tunnel approaches, you and Raven are bathed in orange light as you enter.

"Okay, Mr. Encyclopedia," Raven teases. "What is the reason for tunnels having these orange lights in them?"

"I believe it has something to do with being a nice middle ground for the eyes," you say. "Not to bright at night, not too dim in the day."

"Makes sense," she shrugs.

You exit out the other side, go through wide curves, and find Castle Junction up ahead.

"Wait, which was was it to Kaneohe?" you ask.

"Uh... I don't remember. Left?"

"Left?"

"Right. I mean, yes. Left is yes."

You chuckle as you take the transition to go Northwest, and Raven was correct, you drive into Kaneohe.

"Well, since we've got all day to spend again," you say, "let's start with..."
