I've made more gains - strength and muscle - in this month than in any other month in my years of training. I just take a rest day when I feel weak or beat down, which is rare. But even on my rest days I work on skills or go rock climbing. I have more energy every day too.

Don't let the internet brosephs tell you how to train like a pro bodybuilder. Do what your body can do. I believe in you CE

Aren't the rest days meant to help your muscles repair itself?

Yeah but it's "common knowledge" with no research to back it up that it takes 3-7 days for muscles to repair themselves. And in Arnold type bodybuilders who can completely destroy a muscle, maybe it does. I'm completely back to full strength after 24-36 hours, so I just do push, pull, push, pull. Legs every other day too
