6 ^ 2 / 2 (3) + 4 Only one number is in parenthesis/brackets so it's treated as multiplication. Exponent next.

It's not ambiguous. The answer is 97.

It might have to do with the fact that wolfram alpha thinks x3 is the same thing as x^3.
