Lets not count vidya games.

I always wanted more Transformers, but my parents were kinda broke so I had more GI Joes, which were cheaper. I never had any of the bases or anything. I did have Snake Eyes at one point, and Duke.

My muthafuckin' Power Rangers action figures and Megazords.

I had the one from In Space and it was the coolest shit ever. Then the neighbor kid stole the Zord's head piece and lost it, and I never convinced my parents he had taken it. That shit's why I'm so mad all the time.

I had the power rangers movie version zords. They came together to form the megazord definitely my most favorite as a kid. Also tons of ninja turtles, Star Wars, and Rc truck that shot missiles. Forgot the name.

Also dragon flys I think? The boy version of those fairy spinners that girls had. You have them on small base which was a dragon, you pull the tail and the riders head spins with these wings and they fly up. Had a smaller green dragon and a huge red dragon both with riders of course.

K'nex

I had Legos too but the K'nex were much more my style. They had gears and rods and had much better options for making stuff that moves.

Lego made a response to K'nex called Texhnix or something but I was pretty familiar with the K'nex when they came out so I mostly still played with those. That said, Technix did have some legit pieces that K'nex never did, like worm gears and rack 'n pinion parts that I certainly played around with.

I had no idea what to do for the "make a model of a cell" for high school biology, so as a last resort I made it out of K'nex. One of those moments where I was grateful to my younger self years later.

Hot Wheels

Oh man, Hot Wheels were up there for me too. My older vrother was a huge car guy (and still is) so I inherited all his Hot Wheels, instead of having the cheaper Matchbox cars. I did have a few of those too, though.

I would make tracks up and down the hallway and use some of the other toys to prop them up since I never had one of the official ramps. It was actually pretty hard to make them land on the normal track pieces instead of one of those funnel pieces.
