Who do you trust more to protect you from being attacked the guy who tries to talk for a peaceful resolution to the guy threatening to kill you or the guy who intervenes and physically stops him

I'm sure most people like nice people, it's just not sexually attractive. Like how being smart isn't sexually attractive.

Aggressive behavior can signal sexual prowess.

If that's true then most dominant guys think dating is "demand sex, get sex." They skip the effort part and are still worse people for that.

but there's a fine line between nice and way too accommodating, and the later can be a little boring. There are also women who are used to abusive/controlling relationships, and so being nice is disconcerting to them.

You can be nice and dominant. I think dominant - passive is more that spectrum than dominant - nice.

Most "nice guys" are just boring people who think not being Hitler means you're nice. Actual nice people go out there and try to make a positive difference in the world. Most internet nice guys just avoid hassling people and try not to be hassled themselves.

Doesn't explain situations where the girl is complaining about Chaddy.

I mean the fact is that most guys who are nice are nice to the point that they, like a lot of girls, grow up on the idea of a perfect relationship.
So it's difficult for both men and women to comprehend everything they're taught about relationships is actually a blatant lie. And that it's natural to argue and fight with your partner. So when they get into a "proper" relationship with lots of arguing, mental manipulation and mind games, they respond with hostility, like any normal person does when they've been attacked/made a victim first.

But somehow that's bad to actually believe the things you're told and act like a normal person.

Because that's just how girls are. They want the macho arrogant douchebags. Who end up treating them badly, gets them pregnant, then leaves them. Then by the time the women reach mid 30s, they're like "waaah, where are all the nice guys at". We were there the whole time bitch. You just chose to ignore us.

Right. Never said it wasnt. Just when you see some guys say "why don't they like me? Im a nice guy!"...its usually not the "nice" part that is the deal breaker.
