It's a line, so find 2 points with two values of x whichever and connect them.

Literally easy as fuck.
A point at 0, 4 and 1, 7.
Draw a line.

I would use the homogeneity of the system to find its canonical variables, yielding the solution space.

He might need to pull out some linear algebra and split each coordinate into a matrix to help his calculator graph it

I think you'll have to write your own TI-83 program to iteratively solve it. Probably using a Fourier transform.

Step 1: put it in your graphing calculator.
Step 2: put your paper over the screen and trace it.

The lone number 4 is y intercept. Put a dot on (0,4). Use the slope which is number with X. Go up 3 and to the right 1. (1,7).

Draw line connecting two points.

You need to form some coefficient matrices and then determine the eigenvalues so that you can find what the eigenvector is.

There's also an easier way of doing it with pencil and paper but you have to learn the calculator tracing method first because that was the way we did it hen I was a kid.

Well, in order to graph you gotta know 'x' and you gotta know 'y'.

Now, exes are terrible in all situations, but especially in excess. So, we need to cut the excess exes out of the equation. Thus, y=3+4 AKA 7.

Now, y is an interesting thing to ponder. Why is 7? Well, 7 is the number of days in a week, notes in a diatonic scale, and exes we burned through in our college years. Thus, 7 is metrical, musical, and memorable.

Now stay with me, here. Graphing 7 requires both an x coordinate and a y coordinate. The ex coordinate is 3+4 (what 7 used to be) and the why coordinate is 7 (remember, we solved y above already).

Therefore, the graph of y=3x+4 is a representation of a microcosm for human existence. And we all know that is best rendered graphically as :^)
