And if you're not currently reading something, what was the last book you read?

I just finished the First Law Trilogy and Best Served Cold by Joe Abercrombie.

I just started No Country for Old Men and I'll probably move on to The Road after that by Cormac McCarthy.

Currently finishing up the Night Angel trilogy. It's pretty good, sometimes it tries a bit too hard to be edgy but I've enjoyed it quite a bit.

Oppenheimer.

A biography of Robert Oppenheimer. It's quite well written and researched. I wish there was more focus on the bomb than his relationships drama, but otherwise I'm enjoying it

I stumbled upon a few books at the library they were giving away.

One of them was Star Wars The Force Unleased. Might give it a read.

Nothing at the moment. I'm really wanting to move onto Borne by Jeff VanderMeer that came out a couple months ago but my gf and I generally read things together and she got lazy and fell behind on our last read which was Gone Girl so I'm waiting for her to finish it so we can move on to Borne.

That's the last series I've read. Enjoyed it a lot.

Currently reading American Gods.

One of the best series I've read is Robin Hobbs Royal Assassin series, and the following ones, she's working on the 5th trilogy set in the same universe.. First and third trilogy are about the same things, same with the second and 4th, but the 3rd and 4th have characters and references to events in the other series.
Honestly, reading the Night Angel trilogy reminded me a lot of those books (especially the 1st and 3rd trilogy, they have the same kind of intrigue) and I can't wait for her to be done with the new trilogy to reread them all again, and then the new one.
