Have you still done work in those situations?

Around Christmas/New Year's, we scheduled it so that only 2-3 people would be at the office each day. The guy scheduled on my day quit right before, so it was just me there the whole day. The phone rang once and the doorbell rang once in 8 hours, otherwise it was completely silent.

I mostly watched wrestling matches to pass the time.

At my new (smaller) office, my co-workers often have things scheduled in a way that I end up being alone for 30 min to 1 hour every week it seems.

This.

Well, early in the mornings there's probably no one else in the building since this particular building is almost all classrooms and only like 2 office suites.

I've been the only person in the building before, when an impending snowstorm had everyone leaving the office early and our direct supervisor was out of town, her backup was in the hospital, and the tertiary backup's shift covered from 7-3 where mine was 8-5. I live less than two miles away, so I didn't mind staying to close up. So I held the fortress down for a couple hours.

It was super quiet, since most of the people likely to call in are going to be from branch locations, and the weather meant they were getting very little attention as well.

It happened again maybe a couple of months ago when every internal operations department in system got called for a staff development meeting that took up two days, except for ours, because we'd gone to one like it shortly before. And on one of those days we one of us scheduled time off and the other one called in sick. That may not count though, because maintenance was literally only two walls away.

closing in a restaurant in a hotel.

im paid by the hour so i can just goof off and do barely anything and get paid for it.

best part is the afternoon when some douchebag comes in 30 mins before closing (2pm) and stays there till 5pm and you just pretend to do preparations while asking for free food from the chefs and the pub downstairs.

Yes, I work every weekend alone. And on the rare occasion maybe once during the week if there's a big snowfall and no one can make it to work.

Yeah, I'm the only one on duty for my shift, so every time I work I'm there alone. I still do the work because it's easy, and the next shift would know if I didn't.

I've been a courier and a trucker, both of those I regularly had little to no in-person contact with the other people who worked for my company.

Not at any of my other jobs. I've had nights at my current job (always sundays) where I went close to two hours without seeing anyone because there were so few people in the warehouse and its pretty massive.

I work virtual about once a week.
I have been in on the office on a Saturday or Sunday and been the only person there.
Also a snow storm around 2009 I was the only person in the office since I could easily walk to work, was like a mile away at that time.
