Looks like they have the memory span of your average goldfish. Let me refresh some memories.

2008. George W Bush left office with a 22% approval rating. Democrats expanded their already large majorities and had ended up with supermajorities in congress. Obama just won a massive electoral college victory along with the biggest popular vote margin ever, beating McCain by 10 million votes. People everywhere were saying the republican party was done for forever, that this was it for them.

Then this happened, just two short years later. Democrats got destroyed in the 2010 midterms, losing 61(!) house seats to Republicans and losing many of their seats of the senate in well. Then in 2014 they expanded their majority in the house even further, and lost control of the senate.

Let's compare this to 2016. Obama left office with a 57% approval rating, one of the highest in history for a president on his way out. Trump won a much smaller electoral college victory and Republicans actually LOST some seats in congress. They currently hold a small majority in the house and a razor thin majority in the senate. This all in addition to trump losing the popular vote and Trump's approval rating being lower than Obama's during those devastating losses the democrats suffered in 2010 and 2014.

All of this points to the midterms next year being an absolute bloodbath for republicans in congress. How blind must they be to actually think that the democrats are done forever, as I hear many republicans claim day in and day out?

Globalism and socialism don't work. This is a capitalist nation and that's NOT a bad thing.

Nobody's saying the party can't be rebuilt, but digging in your heels to mutiny against the guy who won is not the way. You need to abandon this socialism crap and go back to the TRADITIONAL VALUES

Not going to argue that Hillary was an atrocious candidate. But I'm not talking about Hillary. I'm talking about democrats taking back power in the midterms. Those democrats running are not Hillary Clinton.

I love how all the cuckservatives in this topic are ignoring everything in my post and are resorting to things like just saying bad things about the left that have nothing at all to do with what I said.
