That would take a bit of work, I don't think your generation is up to it.

They're full of shit and soon enough they'll all be slowly withering away in old age homes as their children ignore them.

I'm not too concerned about what "boomers" think of the young folk.

Worked with a baby boomer that had one of the worst work ethics I've encountered. Constantly demanded to lower the standards for work reviews & incentive programs as well. She just couldn't keep up, especially compared to the younger and more skilled employees.

Fuck that rhetoric, we are objectively a better generation, they're a bunch of consumerist morons that voted in Trump, we're the ones giving a shit about income equality and supporting progressives like Bernie.

Nope. Nixon got voted in and he was shady from the start. A actor got voted in as president. Every generation has it's worst and every generation never wants to take responsibility and just blames the generation before. It's how American works. And not seeing that is willful ignorance.

I used to think crabby people like Clint Eastwood's character from Gran Torino were the problem but it's the generation that came after them that's the real problem (the ones who grew up during the 50s).

To be fair, there are plenty of baby boomers who are hard workers, and there are plenty that have just given up and are lazy and just want to get by.

The same can be said about the current generation. There are some hard workers, and there are some who just don't give a fuck and don't want to work.

I am not saying you can't. I am just saying we now have phones and internet that can easily distract us while we are at work. Boomers did not.

Does that mean they had/have better work ethic? Who knows, but the way people instantly got offened is telling.

The majority of phone companies offer free hardware upgrades on an annual or bi-annual basis, so basically this is a true thing that happens but boomers like to hang on to for ammunition because it's comforting to think that the reason kids are staying at home with the parents is because they're spending all their money on fancy smartphones.

It's a confirmation bias thing. Basically anyone between the age of 22 and 35 is a millenial, but the way people speak you'd think millenial just means "that barista guy with the annoying hipster glasses who's too old to be working in hospitality and is a liberal, probably".

free hardware upgrades

Is that actually true in most csses or did most people just not ask what happens if they don't upgrade at that time?

I know my plan wanted me to upgrade like a year ago but I didn't because I paid attention when I signed the contract and am now enjoying paying $30 less per month.

I didn't even know such upgrades were offered. I usually just get a two-year-old phone model every three or four years because, aside from standard phone functions, the only thing I use them for is LLSIF and GameFAQs. Nothing that really requires anything other than battery life.

And completely and utterly off-topic but I always need to stop and think for a second when seeing "bi-annual" and whether it means twice a year or once every two years.

Oops. Bi annual means twice a year, I meant to say every second year. According to google and wiki, "Biennial" is once every two years.

The upgrade is usually on the proviso that you extend your contract a minimum of two years.
