So what would you like to see GTA6 be? Do you want Rockstar to continue with modern settings or another period piece like Vice City and San Andreas? Things you'd like to see in the game and so on.

For me, the one thing I really hoped GTA5 would add was a grab button. A button, O or B, where you could grab someone you were targeted on. Press O/B to grab someone and from there you could intimidate if you're holding a weapon or use them as a human shield. This would also allow you to drag bodies, to put in a trunk off a car or toss of a bridge.

The police computer was a great addition to 4 and I was super bummed it didn't come back in 5. With what we got in GTAO, I'd love CEO business in the story mode. Building a drug/stolen goods Empire would be great.

So what say you? What would you like GTA6 to be?

I'd prefer for GTA 6 to either feature a new map, or have Liberty City, Vice City, and San Andreas all available and really all I'd ask is they make GTA V again but just bigger, better, and with more features the way III -> VC -> SA did.

I'd like to see that too but I don't think it need the GTA name attached to it. RDR is my all time favorite game and yeah, it's basically Grand Theft Horse but it didn't need the GTA name to be well received.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I'd like a 90s Vice City game. The original VC did such a great job at poking fun at the 80s. A VC game set in the 90s could be gold in Rockstar's hands IMO. Poking fun at grunge, 90s pop culture and so on.

A more expressive, alive world. Los Santos was cool in GTA5 but 75% of the map was nothing, that just isn't fun to traverse.

Not just that but if you just do story missions, it's amazing how much of the map stays blank.

They have, they(The Houser brothers) said GTA IS THE USA. Despite London being a game, they've since stated GTA is about American satire and felt they'd hurt their own narrative going elsewhere. Too bad cause I'd like a London or Tokyo game.

It's a treat when we get snow in GTAO but it feels so out of place. I'm from Michigan so I'd love to see seasons in GTA used. Well, I live in Arizona now

It's 100% just a rumor and iirc part of the rumor said we'd hear about it at E3 which A) obviously we didn't and B) casts even further doubt on the legitimacy of it because Rockstar aren't the types to save announcements for E3. They can just drop stuff whenever and get the same hype regardless.

One thing I did find interesting during the development of GTA5 was that Rockstar hired a bunch of photographers to take pictures of LA and north Cali, Vegas and San Francisco. That wasn't the part that interested me, what did was that they sent photographers to Detroit. I figured it may be Midnight Club related but obviously SF and LV(San Fierro/Las Ventures) didn't make their way into GTA5. So, I wonder what that's about.

I dunno if I'd like Detroit as much. I like how the modern GTA games have a bunch of iconic landmarls and areas people know from both movies and tourism. Detroit doesn't really have that.

I do wonder why they went there though.

I was born in Detroit so I'm bias no doubt. However, I 100% agree that Detroit isn't a "Landmark" city to anyone but Detroiters. I can't think of any major landmarks that anyone would know. Maybe the Joe Louis fist and GM Building. It was a curious decision on their part though. The only reason I assumed Midnight Club was because they went there before but MNC seems like a dead franchise at this point.

I would like a period peace in 1970s New Austin. I'd enjoy seeing a story based around corrupt oil moguls, politicians, AIDs epidemic (Dallas Buyers Club), the cartel, and the overall atmosphere. Maybe even incorporate tornados somehow lol. Picture No Country for Old Men. Even have the border with Mexico accessable and story down there. Indian casinos...rattlesnakes.

Or a modern day game based in Vice City, New Austin (and Mexico), or go all out with multiple areas to fly to. Or let's go back to London. Or hell, a future GTA...think The Fifth Element.

Like other said, multiple cities. You can fly between them with airports. Put Liberty, Vice and San Andreas in there. And maybe some other places too.

1. The most likely location is Vice City. People want it and it is the only of the 3 cities not on modern consoles. Lets assume it is in Vice.

2. I highly doubt any GTA5 characters will return.

3. Many GTA4 Characters Will return because who travels from Cali to Florida? Not many, a ton of new yorkers often go to Florida tho and Rockstar loves small details like that.

4. So who will return? My number one bet is the Lupisella crime family. They are mentioned in GTA4 but you dont interact with them. Luis Lopez had a girlfriend who was a Lupisella. They are part of the Comission with the Ancelottis, Gambettis, Pavanos, and the Messinas. (NOT THE Pegarinos)

5. The Lupisella family is based on the real life Lucchesse Crime Family which still operates in NYC, but they also control turf in South Florida, establishing a connection to Vice City.

6. I also think Anna Faustin will return. She was the daughter of Mikhail Faustin who Niko is forced to kill in GTA4. After he is killed, his wife mentions she wishes for Anna to leave her boyfriend because she thinks he is abusing him. Anna and his wife are knowledgable about Mikhails crimes and it seems likely Anna may continue that trend but will leave Liberty City to do it.

Thats just what I think. I was so proud of myself for piecing together the Lupisellas tho lol.

As someone who does yoga daily, it being included in GTA5 was dumb. My wife owns a spa her in Sedona and she teaches yoga there so, I do yoga.

And it's something GTAO could be part of. Different lobbies for different areas but GTAO could make this possible.

I'd legit love for Niko to make a return as a protagonist. I know that's not Rockstars' thing but Niko was such a great protagonist IMO and if we got to play as any GTA protagonist again, I'd want Niko.

Niko will not be coming back tho. His voice actor is very upset with rockstar and until they fix it he is not coming back.

I remember feeling like they totally missed an opportunity when they were releasing the "Stories" games. I was hoping they would do a "Stories" either set in Los Santos about Caesar's gang or one set in 1970's Las Venturas.

I think either a future or past game would be cool.

Maybe a 2030-40 game with cali, Nevada, and Mexico.

You could start by smuggling legal weed from Nevada in, until you end up doing more serious jobs for the cartels. Ending with different choices with what cartels you'll join, who you cross, maybe you sell them out to the CIA or have the option to.

The standard weapons would be slightly more advanced/futuristic, but not completely insane. Then military stuff would be a decent bit more high tech but nothing too extreme, unless you can break into the game's version of area 51. The further you could make it into area 51, the crazier shit you could get.

Imagine online raids of area 51, cartel safehouses, CIA outposts, etc.

I think it'd be pretty cool.

I hope they continue to take inspiration from classic crime movies but I do wonder what is left
GTA3 - Goodfellas/The Godfather
Vice City - Scarface
San Andreas - Menace II Society/Boyz in the Hood
GTAIV - A mix of lots of movies
GTAV - Heist movies/HEAT

Something like Leon the Professional where you primarily play as a contract killer could be something new. I'd like either that or a rags to riches story where you're more in control of your crime empire. Something like a modern take of Tommy Vercetti in Vice City with more freedom.
