I admit I do have some biases based on physical characteristics (that I'm trying to resolve), but I have to agree with the idea that race exists culturally - two people who are classified as one race in a certain society may be classified differently in another - but it doesn't exist biologically - no basis for race in DNA.

I'm curious to hear your thoughts though and perhaps I may change my mindset.

not really clear cut, no. human dna spreads out in a spectrum, where everyone is related to everyone next to them. people classify races at extreme ends of this spectrum, pretending like there's one race in europe, one in sub-saharan africa, and one in east asia - with everyone else in between being a mix of these three. when in reality we just arbitrarily chose those points

its true. however the iq variance within the races are far larger and makes it pretty much worthless to compare iq between groups.

everybody is an African descendant... some closer, some further.

although not exclusive to America, America has a unique approach to "race" compared to other first world nations. it's completely arbitrary and malicious in nature the way America categorized race.
