This is coming from someone who loves games like this. I enjoyed the hell out of Flower. Braid. Limbo. Firewatch and Shadow of the Colossus/The Last Guardian (not quite the same but you get my point - I unironically love 'arty' games).

I don't get this. I'm just running around and picking up pieces of cloth and I don't really... get it?

Artsy games are always boring as fuck. You gotta really be willing to just really just give a nice long big stroke to the people that made the game. Just very nice little stroke with a bit of suck here and there

Remember Sunset? How some game journalists gave it glowing reviews because it was, apparently, such a moving piece of art?

Remember how less than 2000 people bought it after launch during the first month? Remember how the developer reacted by whining about gamers, consumers, and capitalism? And how they couldn't make art in a free market system?

I remember.

Just keep playing it faithfully, and it will all work out and be appreciated- each facet in its own separate ways.

I loved the game. I got so into it, I played it in one go, so I got emotional of it, the final parts of the game was emotional for me. Can't explain why.
