Man, I should have gotten 2. 1 is basically "keep X character/s alive" every single mission with bad checkpoints. I'm never enjoying fighting because I'm worried Krillin/Tien/Yamcha will die and I'll fail the mission. I'm on the Cell saga atm and I have to beat 3 Cell Jr.s while keeping Tien and Yamcha alive. Then once you beat that, you have to beat the Cell Jr.s again while keeping Gohan alive.

Xenoverse is absolute shit outside the 1v1 fighting. Like absolute trash. Luckily I had gotten SSB Goku and SSB Vegeta as DLC, so I just fucked with them and never unlocked anything else.
I have 2, but I never opened it because I don't have time for shitty story modes. I want to get straight into battles. From the beta, it seems like this didn't change in 2. That's why I'm hoping DB Fighters Z let's you just jump right into that shit with more than like 3 characters. --- It all just disappears, doesn't it? If I recall correctly, that Cell saga mission is basically the low point of the entire story mode. XenoVerse 2 doesn't really have anything like it. Just Frieza and Cooler teaming up to beat your ass but at least it's not having to worry about a bunch of scrubs getting ko'd and losing the mission.
