I don't even remember when I last bought guitar strings. The ones I have seem to be working well still so I haven't really had the need to change them out. Whenever I do get new strings though, I kind of wanted to switch string sizes on my different guitars.

I usually change strings every 3 months. I bought thicker strings today because I'm gonna downtune to B Standard or C Standard. Maybe C#.

You usually play in Standard tuning?

Right now I have 3 guitars I use when I play Rocksmith. I have one setup for Standard tuning which uses Hybrid slinkys so the thin strings are more thing. On that I play Standard and Drop D only. I have a guitar with just normal slinky strings that I use to eb and eb Drop db tunings. Then I have one with thicker strings that I use for D Standard and lower. It can get down to B tunings, but then the strings get too floppy.

I tend to mostly play in Standard tuning though. Mostly just because when I stream I have enough songs to where I don't have to switch tunings unless someone requests something in a different tuning.

I rarely use standard. Well, it depends on what I'm playing. I prefer the more mellow sound so I usually use C#. Lowest I'll go is A Standard.

On an acoustic the lowest I'll go is C#. Sometimes I go above standard with using the capo.

I've gotten a lot better at drums. I went to the guitar store today and went to the drum section. Got on one of the drum sets and I've been asked if I was in a death metal band lol. I can play pretty fast.

Drums is so fun. I wish I had a good kit that actually sounded right and wasn't old, used and basically untunable! They're ok for practice, but it sounds terrible....
