I don't count internet dating as anything serious unless it becomes real life but I do have this gal on Facebook that I internet dated, we are "friends" and perhaps we will meet one day. She got a BF now in real life but I can't help but feel a little envies. I mean I'm happy she's happy but I want that too. With that said I feel that way when I see most couples from time to time so eh.

Nope. Maybe in my early 20's but that is firmly in the past where it should be. My wife and mother on the other hand feel the need to update me from time to time for some odd reason.

I don't have an ex to check in on. I probably would though, occasionally for a period after the break up. I like to think I'd eventually just move on though, but idk, I tend to obsess over rejection and mistakes. So if it was her who broke up with me, I'd probably end up a sniveling mess obsessing over all her posts/updates. lol

This too though. I really want a relationship, and to be happy. Seeing couples and young families together when I go out just hurts now. I'm afraid I'm well on the path to just becoming purely bitter over it.

No. I did for about a year and just recently forced myself to stop. It's only gonna make the break up harder to get over honestly. It's hard but after a month or so not checking their page becomes natural. Trust me. You will feel better in the long run not stalking them constantly.

We have a mutual friend, I happened to see them on the friend's timeline so I clicked their profile. It took me less than a second to remember that I don't care about her or whatever she does. I literally clicked on her profile saw her profile picture load then clicked away.

I look at my ex's fb every so often but it doesn't torture me. Him and his girlfriend look really happy and they do a lot of neat stuff together. I'm happy for him.

Oh I'm jaded and bitter about a few things things now and then but on the other side of the coin when I see/talk to a old couple who have been together since a really young age I find it nice so I'm not completely lost. I just try and make the best of the situation I'm in because well if I didn't I wouldn't be here.

This is like telling a addict not to gamble or a alcoholic not to drink. We know what's needed in order to not be forever alone but it's just difficult taking the steps needed. I mean it's not like I don't go out drinking, talk to gals(sometimes) and put myself out there. It's just for whatever reason it doesn't work out the way I'd like. Don't get me wrong though I still enjoy myself and build confidence in the process so it's not all pointless.

the one ex that i actually truly loved is happily married now with kids. im genuinely happy for her, i dont look at her profile because im not attracted to her anymore although shes still beautiful but i am really happy that she is doing well.

but there is this one girl that i really like, and she likes me too but she has a boyfriend and i cant stop looking at her facebook even if it hurts a lot.
