if you work place is more business casual. ie. no one really even wear ties or a suit jacket then yes it comes off as try hard.

all about context bro.

nothing more cringey than that dude he who thinks he dresses well but is so out of place looking.

but if your workplace has everyone wearing suit and ties then I don't really see a problem with a 3 piece suit
