My main phone's text alert is the MGS codec sound

No, but I used to back in the day.
My text tone was the "!" sound from Metal Gear Solid games and my call ringtone was the codec call sound from the same game. And yes, I used to get down on one knee to answer calls. --- I can't count the reasons I should stay, one by one they all just fade away. ... Copied to Clipboard!
