it's been a while so i'd have to check, but I think Dragoon gets a weapon that does super damage to Shinryu. either him or Beastmaster. a couple of !whites should be able to keep up with berserked shinryu if you've got enough elixirs. gold hairpin might even make it so you don't need it. it depends on level.

Both Dragoons and Beastmasters get anti-dragon weapons

Although...

The former is stolen only I think from the Alte Roite/Jura Aevis fights, and the latter is drop only from the insanely rare encounter, Stingray

You can literally walk into the Shinryu fight, steal a Dragon Whisker, and run the hell away. Or you can just use manipulation to force Stingray encounters, but eh.

Dragon Lance, meanwhile, is also stolen from crystal dragons (And Neo if you're weird).

Honestly, Omega's way more annoying, simply because while you get a safe strategy via Beastmaster, it also forces your entire offense to be your Berserker. And that's terrible.

Oh, I didn't realize the answer was that simple. I had Beastmaster on a previous run and spent a lot of time trying to figure out if there was something I could capture and release to beat Omega but couldn't come up with anything.

yeah, that was it. by lowering the turn speed to 1, they only needed 2.

I didn't hear what they were saying, but that + berserk on the dragoon was enough. they just needed to time their calms well.

Fair warning: #krile doesn't appear to be working, if you were trying to see your 5th job early. Gilgabot just regurgitates your current class list, unless myself and every 5th job person I know (who include multiple quadzerks) somehow get the same 5th job as 4th job.

I'd never went Berserker Risk before and my brain told me, well shit, you should do it then. So I did. And just now, looking at my runs from the previous three years, apparently I had a Berserker last year naturally. Completely forgot. At least, unless I #Krile into it, I only have one of them to deal with.
