Darth Vader, Hermione Granger, and Bowser will officially have a two day long three way bout to end the competition! The first day the one with the least amount of votes will be eliminated and then the actual Championship will take place between the top two in another 24 hour vote off.

Meanwhile, Han Solo takes 4th place all by himself. Safe and sound!

Gandalf and Link will have a final match for 5th place. Snoopy and Kenobi will have a final match for 7th place. And finally, Custer and Chewbacca will fight to get at least one win in the Top 10. However, one will be left shamed and win less.

This is what I originally considered, but what if Hermione went on to beat Vader? Then Bowser gets second and Vader third? ...And if Vader won, who would be runner up, Bowser or Hermione?

I thought it might be better to decide it outright in a match-up so we can have a top 3. None of them have lost a single match in the finals.

I am not sure about the winner honestly, but the Top 25 are all very good characters give or take a few. Very happy with Board 8's decision making most of the contest. Thank you all for participating, it has been years since I have had a contest and I loved being back in the game. These things are very time consuming!

I wish I had a little more involvement (had a steady twenty users vote per round daily, was hoping for 35ish) but Board 8 is dying a little bit and activity is slow so I was thankful for everyone who took the time out of their days to participate and comment! Basically I'd have been satisfied with 8 of the top 10 winning and Bowser was one of the other two (the other was Jesse). That said overall it was a great contest and a lot of fun, and overall I'm happy with these results. Quite pleased that Gandalf made the top 5 and the overall great showing for Star Wars. Tolkien and Star Wars fans represent! Good job Snoopy too.

Wow, that's close. Expected Hermione, but fine with Bowser.

Good top 10 overall. Not all that fond of Star Wars, but they deserved to be there. Except Chewie maybe, with Belle sitting at 11.

Great contest, lots of good characters.

Bowser... eh. Disappointing, but this board loves him for some reason and it would have been difficult for Hermione to win here no matter who she went up against.

SMRPG Bowser is amazing. And Bowser in general.

Top 10 was pretty great, but could have used more Belle power. So close!

I participated late in the contest, so was a bit surprised to see many fallen characters before my arrival. Thanks for reviving this contest!
