Proud to say I've never had nor will ever have a Facebook, Twitter, or IG account. The most I have social media wise is a LinkedIn I haven't touched in years.

I agree with the "mostly yes". Some good comes out of it, like learning important updates on friends you care about or learning about some fun events you didn't realize were around, but it's about 95% trash.

I'm not crazy about social media myself, though I can see why it's convenient and why people enjoy using it. But this is coming from a man that has, among other things:
-Been easily prone to anger and getting an easy reaction out of people that intentionally pushes him. -Was tricked into spitting on a little girl because of the above. -Threw someone through the glass window of a bar. -Crashed his car because he was watching porn while driving.
