Bianca seems to have a much cooler moveset in Heroes, but Nera has blue hair, and blue hair is cool. And Deborah is... also an option, maybe. Being added in a remake is cool, I guess. She doesn't seem very nice though.

Doesn't Bianca do the thing where she talks about that "Ghost Hunting Adventure" constantly? I mean if you pick her? I couldn't stand her before that point. I picked Deborah, since she left a very lasting impression. Nera does seem nice, if a little off-putting on the whole "arranged marriage" business.

She sure didn't act that way in Heroes. You'd think she was smitten from first sight.

Bianca is the "correct" choice
Deborah has the best party chat (and iirc is the best party member gameplay-wise?)

If it makes you feel better, it's toned down in the remake. Not to the extent some people used to think (It was a common rumor that Bianca's life went straight to shit if you dumped her, which didn't happen), but they make the other options not completely shit.

Well, the star-crossed lover thing with the other guy is probably why not choosing Nera makes sense. Deborah just exists as a comedy option, but her father owes you a debt. It probably doesn't bother him which daughter he weds away. I don't get the "down in the dumps" thing for Bianca though. I mean, one weird adventure, plus meeting up again later in life doesn't constitute a major life-altering experience that would lead to marriage.

I mean...it'd be different if they almost got killed. But those were easy ass quests.

The DS version is the only one I've ever played, actually. I've heard you couldn't even marry Deborah in the original, right? I dunno if party chat was in the original, but if anything that seems like it'd skew it even more in Bianca's favor in terms of fleshing out, since Nera doesn't get a chance at that unless you marry her.

I used party chat a lot.

Also the original game basically punished you if you picked Nera because she stopped leveling up once she got to level 10, and you could not giver her orders in battle. The kids were still fine though

After the next big spoiler moment happens, then she can level up more. But at that point you have much better party members anyway, and in the original version you could only have 3 people in battle at a time so there's not much room for her.
