Sens can beat the Pens in a 7 game series. We don't play fancy but our style keeps us in pretty much any game. Also Karlsson is the best player on the planet right now. Just need to win four 1 goal games.

They barely beat us lowly Coilers even after getting gifted 2 games.

Pens seem lower than Rangers

and crosby didn't enter the draft until 2005, which wpulr have been after the 2004-05 season, not based on these standings. meanwhile, from your own link:

Also scary thought. How easily Crosby and Ovechkin could have been teammates.

Also yes the Pens are lucky. But someone had to win the Crosby lottery. At least it was a team near the bottom the previous played season. Imagine if at the time the Red Wings had won that. Though the idea of Datsyuk, Zetterberg and Crosby on a team with Lidstrom makes me all kinds of warm and fuzzy as a hockey fan.

Gretzky stopped being a flopper very quick when the Oilers surrounded him with McSorley and Linsmen. Goon squad made him not have to flop because no one wanted their skull caved in.

Crosby was a flopper for a bit yeah but also since goons aren't a thing now you sorta need to flop to protect yourself sometimes.

Crosby for sure isn't a flopper now though. He works damn hard in the corners and in front of the net.

I hear ya. I think Eb's will have a better year next year. McDavid is just going to keep getting McDavier. Lucic had better be better. Klembom and Larsson are going to likely be better. Nurse is going to be a year older. Our d-core is actually really young in terms of defense men, other than Sekera.

I've always liked the Preds as sort of my western conference team. Played a few season in Eastside Hockey Manager with them.

Nashville is an awesome city and a really good place to go see a game, too! Solid western conference pick.

Minnesota/St. Louis/Nashville are all great and easily within driving distance for me so I've been kind of spoiled for choice for away games.

a 25 goal scorer is not something you give a way for free. He had one year under 25 and it was a 20 goal season. He was a lot better defensively than we have ever seen him in his career. You give a guy like that one more year to turn it around.
