I had it way back when I was a kid, it was on a floppy disk.

To even start up the game you had to answer a few questions to make sure you were old enough.

You started off in a bar, you could go outside into the alley way and maybe do something else. Don't really remember.

You could also progress through and make it up into a castle for some reason?

Could anyone help me out?

Nope, you could freely move around. If you died that was it, had to start all over. I once fell off the cliff going to the castle and had to start at the beginning.

What kind of game was it? Was it the kind where you typed in commands like "open door" "get (item)*, etc?

Might have been King's Quest?

No sir, it took place in modern times (whenever it was released) and as far as I remember you only really had to freely walk around and interact with stuff with an action button.

I'm guessing it was really inappropriate in some aspects, that's for the questions at the start.

EDIT: It looked like an 8 bit video game

EDIT #2: It was probably because u was so young but it was fucking hard too. I never got far into it.

Though I don't remember any castles in it, so your memory might be merging another game with it.

The thing, the majority of leisure suit larry games used a text parser command system, not a point and click system.

5 or 6 might have been the one you tried because they tried to make it more point and click and less text parsing...

That was going to be my guess. That game was pretty creepy and weird.

they made a college one that was even more bizarre

i remember playing it in 2004. my roommate was like 'this is the one game i will play with you' as there was a beer pong minigame.
