I actually just got it from my preorder at Best Buy. They had a NES Classic too so getting both in one day is pretty good!

I will probably play it when I am done with Horizon Zero Dawn

I'll be moving approximately 30 feet to a different department. Looking forward to it immensely. Just been kind of a drag because it's been 5 weeks since I was told I got the new position. Hiring took 3 weeks, and HR has a really, uh...questionable?...policy where someone can't start until two weeks from the day they accept an offer. Aaaannnnd, my manager negotiated a deal with my soon-to-be manager that I wouldn't transition until two weeks after my replacement's start date.

So I've been trying to not completely check out from my current job, but it's been difficult.

I'm doing terrible and it's all your fault. You cursed me to suffer from minor aches and pains throughout my body that manifest at the most awkward times, constantly forcing me to embarrass myself in public when I try to find a posture that doesn't hurt. You made sure that my spaghetti last night was under cooked, you made the construction workers wake me up this morning, you almost certainly are to blame for the hole in my shoe that keeps making my foot wet, and I just plain get irritated when I think about you.

It's pretty solid. Long, but the story is interwoven between many different tales so it makes it feel like you are playing multiple different JRPGs rather than just one, giant JRPG. There's a lot of content and I doubt I even scratched the surface when I played through it

First DQ game outside of the first one too for me!

Pretty late on this, but congrats on getting through that shift. Those sorts of shifts can be brutal depending on the work and I feel like each time someone gets through one it deserves some congratulating.

And the burgers were pan-cooked, but were great nonetheless. Everyone was happy.

I avoid grilling stuff most of the time because I'm a little paranoid about carcinogens. I know there are ways to mitigate that problem, but I've been lazy in developing the technique.
