We've actually had very little info about it, but he didn't move for like 30 seconds and needed a lot of help getting off the ice.

It looked really bad and with his history... I wouldn't be surprised if he was down for the rest of the playoffs. Fingers crossed though.

I am probably going to empty my sportsbook account tomorrow betting on the Pens to win the series. Easy money. They don't need Crosby for this. As I said last series, there is no team bad enough the Caps can't play down to the level of.

Pens have the hotter goalie. That's all they need.

Finally watched the highlights. I'd say goaltending was even AT BEST. Fleury made some amazing stops, and the first two goals are not on him AT ALL. One was a flukey bounce off his own guy in a 5-on-3 for god's sake. The next was on a play where Kuznetsov was fed the puck at point blank range with NOBODY near him and like 2-3 seconds to think about what to do.

Also giving Niskanen 5 and a game for that is a joke. ONLY because it's Crosby and ONLY because he stayed down. Crosby was already losing his balance and falling over such that his head was like a foot and a half lower than it normally would be. Niskanen was rushing to the net holding his stick at shoulder height prepared to check whoever was there. He's looking at the puck and not even looking at Crosby. Yes, it TECHNICALLY was a check to the head, but completely and totally accidentally and unintentionally. That's two, sure, fine. It's not five and a game.

Penguins are good enough they can surpass the Caps without Crosby. Last night was a clear sign.

If we lose this series without Crosby (in game six like I'm predicting), I hope we spend all of game six just taking head shots at Ovechkin, Oshie and Backstrom.

Ovechkin's skull isn't made of tissue paper, so if you hit him with the same force Niskanen hit Crosby, he'll just laugh at you.

That said, my expectation is for the Caps to win the next 2, Crosby to return and score the game winner in overtime in Game 6, and for the Pens to win Game 7 by over 5 goals

Crosby is such a force that losing him is basically the equivalent of the Caps losing Ovechkin, Backstrom and Oshie all at the same time. Maybe throw a defenseman in there as well.
