It's like Terminator 2 level good. And those models that were in it are just gorgeous. That bleach blond was the star but that redhead is an honorable mention.

But beside that, some of the best action scenes I've seen scored so well.

anyone complaining about the "feminist agenda" in that movie is a weak man. Why do powerful women threaten you so much? Plus, Max straight up saves the day like 5 times in that movie, get over yourselves.

Yeah, I really like that movie. Some people complained that the plot was so simple (i.e. race against the bad guys in one direction, then turn around and do it again), but I feel that's part of the beauty of it. I did not really understand the other complaint about it being too pro-feminist. Yes, Charlise Theron and the other women had big roles, but Mad Max was clearly the hero and Nux had a nice story arc.

I didn't think that it was bad, or anything, but I didn't care much for the movie.

the visual storytelling was cool, but I didn't feel that there was enough going on to endear the viewer to the characters (besides the one half-life defector) other than Joe and his people were scummy.

plus, there was too much action. it ended up finishing some of the impact of our scenes, for me.

Holding t2 up as the greatest action movie is honestly as common an opinion as calling the star wars ot the greatest sci fi trilogy ever. It's that established.

I think most of the praise has to do with the choreography, atmosphere, and camera shots. It was a really well done movie and looked amazing compare to the other action movies that you can't tell what the fuck was going in them. It's a simple movie in terms of plot, but I think that it's major charm. It's not trying to be something it isn't. Also I failed to see how this is a feminist movie, since it was Max the majority of the time doing the saving.

I'm wondering if people that criticize Fury Road for being all action and no story have ever seen a Mad Max movie before. That's basically the entire franchise, and it's awesome.

Not everything needs a complex story. But yes, Fury Road is one of the best, if not the best action movies of this decade.

I agree, but John Wick 2 or any of the old Hong Kong Jackie Chan gives it a run for its money in terms of best action movie.

I was kind of shocked to find out that the main actor Taron Egerton is also a pretty good singer. He was a good addition to the animated movie Sing.

Kingsman was good too

That church scene and that fight scene with Eggsy and Gazelle at the end of the movie were the best highlights in the film for me. The only thing that turned me off about the film was the shaky cam.

Why is that dumb? Yeah Fury Road completely stands alone from those and you don't need to see them first to enjoy it but why is it stupid for him to want to watch the previous movies first?
I generally like to consume media in release order.
