Even though I have Shane AND JoJo on my team, I don't think they should get points. By "reward", Naomi obviously means the luxury competitions. This was not a luxury competition.
I honestly think they're gonna aim to get the vets in the game somehow.
That would be interesting. Maybe halfway through the season, they'll offer the mentor who has the most players left, the opportunity to give up their current advantage of winning $100K, by instead inserting themselves into the game as a regular player in running for the $500K. I think that would be really interesting.
But if it happens, it'll probably be through Pandora's Box. Whoever wins HOH, they're mentor will now be in the game. Or maybe some kind of America vote to put them in.
Julie also said the vets will be coaching all season. With there only being 10 people left by next thursday, the vets are obviously going to be competing in the game eventually.
Or the vets get to join the game after all of their players get eliminated. So you could strategically try to wipe out a whole team, so you can get rid of an enemy vet early, without having to worry about them joining the game later. It would also cause some vets to try and get rid of their own players before the finals, so they could jump in right at the end, before they lose their chance.
I dunno. It would be weird though. But it would be interesting to see vets trying to get rid of their own people.
Unless there's no double eviction this summer, tonight's eviction cuts out a week of the game, doesn't it? At some point either a mentor or an evicted houseguest has to come back to make up for that, I think.

I hate Grodner. For some reason I feel the person going home day one was a late decision made in order to allow a vet the chance to be in the game.
I still feel that though they aren't in the game, the vets will get all the spotlight yet again. I hate how alliances are already somewhat forced (at least in some fashion) and how the new players just seem like pawns other than real people.
I would rather the vets just play. I hope the rest of the season improves and we get more of the newbies.
well i'm glad you're aware. like trading a machamp away in pokemon cards. >->
but yes ian overlords. he is fun to watch. last night he was bobbing up and down in the pool by himself, creating waves for entertainment. it was so weird. and then he hit himself in the face with his foot to show off a 'skill' to everyone else. most impressive.
edit: I guess technically since this hasn't aired, its spoilers even though it isn't anything. I'm fully aware half the house wants ian out and I don't care, I believe in our ian overlords --- boring and mundane signature Now with more bold!Less italics due to bold.
brit/dan/wil had a long coaching session with ian last night about his dating life. lots of good pointers. brit did a roleplay with him where he had to ask her on a date. it was tragically hilarious. they wanna have him ask ashley out on a BB date after the veto ceremony (which is happening right now).
Changed point distribution to accommodate the coach comp:
Winning Head of Household: 10 points Winning Power of Veto: 7 points Winning Reward/Food Comp (Individually): 4 points Winning Reward/Food Comp (Team Effort): 3 points
Getting nominated: 4 points Being on the block come eviction: 5 points Having the Power of Veto used on you: 3 points Using the Power of Veto on someone other than yourself: 3
Voting for the person who gets evicted: 1 Having a vote cast against you: 1 point per vote
Your coach wins the Coach Comp: 3 points Player receives immunity from coach: 2 points
I think the coach winning the Coaches Competition should be worth at least 5 points. Mostly because it's the only thing they can really do so far, but also because the other two big competitions wield 7 and 10 points, so 3 seems pretty low in comparison.
Winning Head of Household: 10 points Winning Power of Veto: 7 points Winning Reward/Food Comp (Individually): 4 points Winning Reward/Food Comp (Team Effort): 3 points Becoming a Have-Not for the week: 1 point
Getting nominated: 4 points Being on the block come eviction: 5 points Having the Power of Veto used on you: 3 points Using the Power of Veto on someone other than yourself: 3
Voting for the person who gets evicted: 1 Having a vote cast against you: 1 point per vote
Your coach wins the Coach Comp: 5 points Player receives immunity from coach: 2 points
Yaay. And lol, I was also going to suggest that Have Not thing since we're not really get Have Not competitions this season. 1 point is what I was going to suggest.
I feel like I should trade Danielle. She's kinda f***ing boring and s***ty. But there's no one else I want really. Unless someone wants to trade Willie? The only person I actively want to see gone is Joe. Oh my god gtfo.
