And my body seemed to have trouble controlling its internal temperature after. It couldn't decide if it was hot or cold.

Not doing that again

I fail to see how you could even concentrate getting information in your brain. I imagine you were probably just reading the same sentence for 20 minutes.

I tried 5 hour energy once when I had little sleep and had a full day of work. It was horrible. I felt trapped inside my body. It could move and function just fine, but mentally I was still exhausted.

It was a little tough but it helped me out for the most part. Now though I'd rather take some adderall or something

You get used to them after a while. The first couple of times, it felt like my head was on a swivel. Now I take them, and it feels like you said: your body starts working, even if your mind has to catch up.

Best flavor is orange, followed by grape, then berry, and lemon-lime tastes like suffering. But orange is definitely drinkable, grape is a little like an off-brand of those Hug juices they used to give you as a kid, berry is tolerable, and I never want to taste another lemon-lime 5HE as long as I live.

I had pomegranate.

Tasted like a sweet tart.

most energy drinks just make me sleepy, B vitamins are actually important to your sleep processes, some even have a good amount of magnesium in them and magnesium deficiency is a huge reason a lot of people have insomnia, it doesn't seem like most of the companies making them really know what they're doing. I find just normal caffeinated drinks like coffee and soda are much more effective for me. coffee is ****ing nasty though so if I really need the caffeine kick I'll usually just have mountain dew

What Zazi said.

Those things turn you into a zombie. Your body is moving but you're not really awake, just kinda there.

never again.

I've never had a 5 hour energy. But I used to down a monster a day for like a year. >.>

When i have them during class or at work I do notice a pretty big difference in my attentiveness and such. If I have a test I know will be difficult I'll drink one.

Silly people in this topic.

Five Hour Energy works great most of the time. If you use it too much then it doesn't work as well. I use it once in a while and it gives me some really great energy to get things done if I didn't get enough sleep or whatever.
