Warning_Crazy - singoff is the best music show on tv (You know my weakness. Fortunately for you, no bro has shown up to beat this amazing opinion. It may soon fall, but I believe this statement with every ounce of my being.)

SanityLapse - Female metal vocalists > Male metal vocalists (While my two favorite metal vocalists are both female, there is no denying that males are generally much better at it. The great females are f***ing fantastic, but the rest are mediocre at best)

Accel_R8 - Homestuck is over rated by it's few raving fans and is on par with MLP on the scale of "needs to stop being posted goddamn everywhere." (Homestuck slightly intrigues me, but I completely agree that its fans are almost intolerable. Its like a f***ing cult. Every statement they make is some kind of reference to the s***.)

Emporer_Kazbar - I think Taken is the best movie ever made. (Liam Neeson is a f***ing badass. No-one can deny that or deny that this movie was stellar. Calling it the best movie ever made is way across the line though. It can't even compare to some of the classics.)

NioraptH - Justin Wong > Marn (I don't know what these people/things are)

GenesisSaga - Cheddar > brie > provalone > motzerella > American > Monterey Jack > Swiss (This opinion makes me want to divorce you, default on my child support, and never speak to you again. Holy s*** woman. Swiss is easily the 2nd best next to pepper jack. And cheddar is bland as hell)

well it kinda goes without saying that the very best art is both unique and high-quality

the alternative viewpoint would be that original artists with mediocre execution of ideas can inspire said perfection in others and therefore further the art in a way that simply quality alone cannot

that's without considering their intrinsic value too. identikit 7/10 albums bring nothing new to my life and i delete them all the time, but if i come across a totally unique 5/10 album i'll almost certainly hold onto it; i might not feel like listening to it often, but if i ever do that's always what i'll reach for. simply put, it's the best of its kind; the "better" 7/10 album is not.

I was more implying that I really like some records that are deemed unoriginal by some or whatever (mumford and sons, kings of leon, general fiasco and later coldplay come to mind). I just don't have a certain mindset for music and I'm sure you're a bit bipolar when it comes down to things like this too! Art can never really be determined by one statement, but it's always fun to discuss things like this haha
