Man, just finished with Lohan. I'm reminded of how ****ing terrible towns in RPGs are. How people actually had this complaint about FFXIII I will never understand. Towns suck.

I've played though this game three times and gotten to the fourth disk each time. Never beat it. I think I have maybe one try left in me before I can never play it again. Fun as hell but some parts shave years off of your life not because they're particularly stressful but because they take that damn long to complete.

The Grand Jewel fight was so brutal.
Used up ALL of my healing / reviving items, had to rely on Albert's Rose Storm even if it meant sacrificing him a couple of times, and even then I won the fight with Rose and Albert with less than 100HP each. -- ph33r teh masta~! ... Copied to Clipboard!

I ****ing hate Grand Jewel. When I was a kid and playing this game for the first time, that thing took me a long ass while to beat. That stupid move with the rainbow lights ripped through my party. Still had problems with it on later playthroughs, though not as much

Gust of Wind Dance + a good weapon completely decimates this boss. That would've been the case. But I'm mastering Albert's first two additions to unlock his final one. And boss battles are the best chances to do it. Anyway, finished Chapter 3 just now. The ending of disc 3 is the best part of the whole game. Moon & Fate here I come! -- ph33r teh masta~! ... PARTY STATZ
- Dart Level: 29 Dragoon Level: 5 Current Addition: Moon Strike Just finished mastering Double Slash (augh), and all I have left is Moon Strike to unlock his final addition. - Rose Level: 28 Dragoon Level: 5 Current Addition: Demon's Dance All additions mastered, including her final one. - Albert Level: 29 Dragoon Level: 4 Current Addition: Flower Storm Finally mastered Spinning Cane, unlocking his final addition. Working in it as we speak. He just turned DLV4, because his first additions give crap SP. - Meru Level: 25 Dragoon Level: 3 Current Addition: Hammer Spin Since Rose is all mastered, training Meru to be in rotation if necessary. initial thoughts: man this is a big game 1 gig in ps1 days? I'm not beating this game in less than 80 hours am I? Well I'm in the beginning of the last disc, and I'm only up to 26 hours so far. But it's sure packed with stuff. You don't need to train so much with him, you'll get the rhythm down with wild encounters. And you'll gain new additions, so you're always gonna have to be learning them. Anyway, just defeated a couple of 00PARTS for gold. Thinking of buying a couple of Legend Casques.
