Normally I get a new pair every other year so I'm used to paying a lot but it's been less than a year and I wanted to upgrade my glasses to the new prescription. I walk in and say I want to update my glasses and she tells me it's going to be $220!! I repeat that I have the frames already, and that I got them there and she says the same thing again. She then proceeds to tell me about all their sales and how it's cheaper to buy the same damn frame again for about $50 less. WHY? WHY??
I end up getting some smaller glasses because she said they looked good so I took her opinion on it. $160 altogether and now I have a billion glasses that I'll never use because it costs more to replace it than to buy a new pair.

Tell me about it. Luckily, my father was my optometrist's roommate in college so he takes very good care of me price-wise. I usually get like $300 glasses for $50. They obviously hate people who can't see.
