SBell has shown up to say he has been extremely busy and unfortunately BLEACH has not been a top priority.

Of course, I've thorough enjoyed all i've watched and I think i'm going to make a point to watch at least 1 or 2 episodes a week moving forward. Lets keep this topic alive and forge ahead into 2012.

its not that i'm not excited about it. i was digging the characters, i got into it. but its no Yu Yu. at least with YYH i knew it was already over and i was trying to reach the end. With bleach it goes on forever and ever and ever... :(

You should skip the fillers until you get to the Zanpakuto Rebellion Arc. That, along with the most recent filler arc, are definitely worth watching.

if it makes you feel better about continuing, Bleach is going into the final story arc now. the manga anyway, but the anime actually isn't far behind (hence why it constantly goes into filler).

Shortly after this thread was made, I started my own personal Bleach watchthrough. Just hit episode 215 yesterday. The Hueco Mundo arc was really cool up until a certain point and then it's just like... huh. Really hard to talk about this without spoilers. It's definitely not as bad as some people say it is. Worth watching.

But dude should've just SKIIIPPPPED the Bount Arc. The other filler arcs are okay, but that was just terrible.

I'm actually stuck in the Bount arc as well because I hate skipping stuff (even if it's filler), but I am mostly caught up in terms of the manga. At least I was until I stopped reading about 6-8 months ago. . . But taking Kubo plotting into account I assume that means 10 minutes has passed in-universe.

The filler arcs seem to gradually improve on quality. The most recent arc was damn good in terms of story and fights and beats Hueco Mundo overall. Kind of sad that the animators can make a better arc than Kubo can.
