There are many users on board 8. Some are good, some are bad, but none of them are WiggumFan267. Wigs is something of an anomaly in that he goes beyond simple definitions of "good" or "bad", and elevates himself to a level that is both remarkable and worthy of lengthy discussion. With this brief essay I hope to touch on the many facets of WiggumFan267 that make him such a unique and excellent user and person. This will explore his history of posting on board 8, his many remarkable projects and his quite wonderful wit.

One of the first things you might notice about WiggumFan267 is his username. Yes, there are numbers in his username which many often think indicates a lack of class. I find this to be a myopic and archaic point of view anyway, but it is especially wrong in this case. I actually believe that the addition of the "267" gives the username an aesthetic value which I find to be very pleasing.

The username has other purposes, too. For example, it gives us an indication that the man we knows as Wigs is, in fact, a Wiggum fan. Though this is unclear, since he could be a fan of Ralph or Chief Clancy Wiggum, it gives us some insight into the things he likes. It shows he enjoys the television programme "The Simpsons", as well as giving us an insight into his specific tastes regarding that show. Either of the Wiggums are comparatively niche: notice how WiggumFan267 did not choose to name himself "SimpsonFan267". Wigs knows what he likes, and has the intellectual superiority to not simply mill towards the known and expected choice - he likes one of the Wiggums, he wants the world to know that fact, and I respect him for it.

Now we have explored Wigs' username, let us now move onto him as an individual person. As you might expect for someone of Wigs' calibre his interests are varied and his contributions are almost always solid gold. This is a consistent thing that I have come to enjoy about WiggumFan267.

For instance if one were to walk into board 8 chat right now one would see Wigs talking to the user "DPOblivion" about baseball. He makes contributions to the conversation such as:

woodwindwhrlwind 12:27 am
f*** that dp

You would also see excellent contributions like:

woodwindwhrlwind 12:25 am
this gametracker on yahoo
for fantasy
is really weird

This shows a passion for the sport, as well as an interest in the finer details such as how the yahoo gametracker works; what this does is establish Wigs has a keen interest not only in simply "baseball" but in points you would not usually think to analyze.

So thus far we have established that Wigs is not your normal, cookie-cutter individual: the analysis of his discussion of the opening baseball game of the season is concurrent with my opinion on his username, in that it shows a liking for the discussion of something that is perhaps not as well known or as frequently talked about. His intellectual authority is very strong for this reason.

Another reason why one might be willing to appreciate the wonderful brilliance of WiggumFan is the advent of a well-known and well-respected Board 8 institution - and I do not use the word institution lightly, but this has earned it. I am, of course, talking about ~Rate the Food~.

Rate the Food is something that many might find to be a rather simple or derivative project, given the fact that board 8 has been an ocean of daily rating topics for many a year. However, this is quite simply untrue. Rate the Food is a completely original concept because it goes beyond the excesses of everyday life. It is not a study in board 8's love of various media, like KCF0107's "rate the game" series. No, this is instead a study in something that everybody on board 8 can identify with - food.

Now, there are some exceptions to this - for instance, I imagine many other European users have not heard of "General Tso's Chicken."
