I don't know. When things officially ended with my previous girlfriend (love of my life, etc.) I too wanted to just go out and find a rebound. Maybe it would have helped? Maybe not. Either way it didn't work out for me because lol no job and no money.
Regardless. I still found out that I'm just not the kind of guy who can bang random girls. It's just not me.
At the same time, it's been months (without her and without sex) and I'm still depressed and also an alcoholic.
So... I don't know what to tell you. But the other night I had a long talk with Zen and helped him through some stuff. Maybe your friend could talk to me and I could help him through this.
Oh that's a weird thing to suggest. Alcohol yay.
