Also, what other posters are saying about people who are born poor mostly staying poor is true. I read a report a while back saying there's far less upward mobility in the U.S. today than there used to be, and the most reliable indicator of a child's likely income level in adulthood is their parents' income level. --- "It is possible to commit no mistakes and still lose.
