I really hope they don't cheapen the characters death by bringing them back to life. I miss Gambit, but it will really take away the stakes this show is creating.

It's not a one-to-one comparison but I had something similar like that happen when I opened up to my siblings that I was an Atheist. At first they were accepting of it, but then told me to lie to my parents about it or else it would hurt my relationship with them a lot. Up until this day, I'm still lying to my parents but that's because I'm really good at bullshitting that I'm a Christian. I admit it's not the most healthy way to live, but I love my parents too much to hurt their heart.

If your parents are conservative, lying to them until they wise up is the best option if you don't want them constantly pestering you (best case) or disowning you (worst case). Unlike being gay/lesbian, it's not something that's going to eat you up inside if you hide that part of you from them.
