Not nearly as many as you would think.

Since Tesla's existence, only ~827,000 Tesla Vehicles are registered with the US as of January 1, 2021.

Percentage of Tesla cars in the US, registered, owned and driven in California (through January 1, 2021) 46%

So nearly half of the the 827,000 Tesla's are registered in California.

Tesla was created in 2003, has been selling cars since 2008 with it's Roadster & Model S.

There are stories of Tesla selling "New Cars", that are clearly Pre-Owned cars.

If you average everything out, Tesla only sells ~ 63,615.38 cars per year.

Not exactly "High Volume", even compared to other luxury brands.
