Not to mention that usually when Star Trek has a dilemma like this, the last part of the episode introduces some deus ex machine that lets them have their cake and eat it too. I actually like that this time they had the captain actually have to make the tough choice and stick with it. --- The difference between fiction and reality is that fiction has to make sense. ...
