I think the Investigations formula at its core just doesn't work for me. Some people don't like the Gregory stuff (I thought it was great), but the present day stuff is really where it's at. I think AAI2 does a lot of good for Edgeworth as a character. It brings more emotion out of him than I really thought was possible for him.
