Just from that I feel like this show was meant to be watched by the whole family together because the adult and kids both get something out of it, but I can also see either demographic watching it on their own time as well.

Yesh, thats what makes it different than a show that has random adult jokes hidden in a kids show. It actually has adults going through adult situations

in five-seven minute episodes. A lot of very grown up things are implied, including things like miscarriages and vasectomies.
