It's basically the end of the Sengoku/Warring States period (the leadup to the Tokugawa shogunate being established) with the serial numbers filed off (so if you know the basic history and you realize who is based on who and can get a general idea of where certain plot beats have to go) but it's been a blast to watch. --- May you find your book in this place.
