If anything, the sidequests in XVI were more satisfying because they added to the story, compared to Rebirth's. hmm...the later quests from XVI were pretty decent, but Rebirth's reward you with character interactions and they also try to mix things up a bit instead of always being to x and kill some monster....I mean it was still that, but a bit more creative.
