my guess to what trust and safety is meant

stack overflow description for trust and safety:

https://startup.jobs/associate-community-manager-trust-safety-stack-overflow-3338643

As an Associate Community Manager, Trust & Safety, youll be helping build a safe environment for our users by identifying and addressing challenges to the safety and integrity of our communities. Youll need to assess behavior, social contracts, and rules that drive our distinct communities to defend our users from unwanted content and behavior. Youll need to be on the frontlines talking to users and moderators to understand community dynamics and what needs to be improved. Youll collaborate with data scientists, user researchers, community operations, and legal to craft and implement policies.

What youll do:
Day-to-day, youll be assisting in several Trust & Safety related matters: be it reviewing actions taken on the platform, helping our support team navigate tricky situations, liaising with product teams to make sure changes have input from our community, or partnering with other CMs and helping them with their work. Youll respond to feedback regarding Trust & Safety and make sure were aware of any issues that get in the way of keeping people safe while also helping foster consistent positive experiences on our platform. Youll need to help craft and implement policies that consider the needs of our global community. We have an international audience and navigating through different cultural contexts is common. Sometimes youll need to act as an escalation point to our support team for all product policy matters, including responding to emergencies and content safety-related cases. This role may involve exposure to, and dealing with sensitive or graphic content, including but not limited to vulgar or derogatory language, violent threats, hate speech, and other forms of abuse. We handle these tickets in a mutually supportive environment and are very sensitive to your needs, but its important that you know that youll encounter this type of material as part of your job.
Youll be responsible for advocating for product features that encourage positive behavior and reduce harm and abuse. You will need a proactive, detail-oriented attitude to work with product folks, people enforcing policies (both employees and volunteer moderators), and other teams to advance online safety. This team is expected to identify potential harm & safety concerns around product changes and then help design & implement mitigations and protections. We also communicate about these initiatives with our users & moderators.
