I strongly recommend you to use either Matrix or Revolt not Discord, mainly because Discord uses AI for server scans triggered by reports, meaning you have a political channel that has serveral blacklisted triggerwords, somebody reports the server for fun and hits the report threshold, AI finds those triggerwords and closes the server+bans the owner in the process.

I've seen several discord servers getting banned even for reasons like "Fraud" when the blacklisted keywords were literally only in linked articles. Good recent example would be the XZ backdoor.
Articles have the keyword "backdoor", "Remote Code Execution" and even the names of the infected files. The AI discord uses detects several red flags and marks the server as a blackhat hacking server dedicated to commit fraud.
