While I do agree that his trials should be televised, maybe it is for the best that they aren't. It would be a double edged sword if they were. On one side the American people would get to see it but on the other side Trump would use it to his advantage. He would have more incentive to show out and use the whole thing as a political campaign.

By not being on TV it really helps keep the trial to be about whether or not Donald Trump committed a crime.

Yeah I will say I was close to rabid when I learned they wouldn't televise his court cases, because Trump would otherwise lie and say it was a slam dunk.

But the more time goes on, and we have media into the room anyway doing the play by play, I can acknowledge, even bitterly, that it's probably the right call.

Definitely fair and correct thinking in these posts. I just want the visuals preserved on the internet forever. We'll always have court records, I guess... oh well.
